San Diego Climate Week: “The Threads Between Us” Premiere + Mixer

Our most popular event is back! Learn to surf (or just get your feet in the sand) alongside fellow sustainability leaders at a beach party hosted by thinkPARALLAX.

What to expect:

A van will shuttle participants from Town and Country to our beach house for an evening of surf lessons, live music, and food and drink. We’ll have a wetsuits and surf board ready for you. Bring a swimsuit if you’d like to get in the water. There will be a short surf instruction followed by an hour of water time. If surfing isn't your thing, we'll also have tacos, drinks, post-conference conversation, and an evening bonfire.

‍Timeline:

5pm: Shuttle picks up participants from Town and Country and brings them to our beach house

5:30- 6:30pm: Surfing (with short instruction) and beach games

7pm: Taco dinner

8- 9pm: Networking at tPX beach house

What to bring if you want to surf:

• Swimwear
• A towel
• Casual clothes, plus a sweater (it gets chilly in the evenings)
• An appetite for adventure
